Business Travel Consultant - Hybrid and Remote Based

We are a leading travel management company for the charity and academic communities and we’re proud and passionate about what we do.

Our Operations Team provide a fantastic service to Academic and Charity clients to support them in their vital work around the globe. As Business Travel Consultant you will be booking flights, hotels, car hire and advising clients on travel visas, so this is a varied role and the ability to multitask is key.

We are currently looking for a number of experienced Business Travel Consultants with good working knowledge of reservations, fares and ticketing ideally gained within a TMC environment.  Our roles can be Hybrid or Home based (depending on your location) and our package includes:

  • Previous experience working as a Business Travel Consultant
  • A passion for travel with demonstrable energy and self-motivation
  • Experience dealing with high volumes of email and call requests processing complex travel bookings
  • Experience of nett fares, including air passes and RTW fares
  • Good CRS knowledge - Galileo preferable but cross-training can be given
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to achieve individual and team targets

If you’re an experienced Business Travel Consultant and meet the requirements outlined above then please do get in touch.  Hours of work are 8.45am - 5.30pm (4 weeks), 8am - 4.45pm (1 week), 9.30am - 6.15pm (1 week)  Monday – Friday and your rota will involve one weekend day every six weeks with a day off in lieu midweek. The role may be based at either our central Manchester office, from home or a hybrid combination of office and home.
