We are a successful travel management company for the charity and academic communities and we’re proud and passionate about what we do.


We are currently looking for an SME Client Manager to provide a telephone-based and a strategic account management service to our clients in Europe and the UK.  This role will maximise client satisfaction and support long term client retention and growth.   Primary responsibilities will include:-

  • Present, negotiate, and close renewal sales at the highest level, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs
  • Prioritise opportunities and time accordingly to achieve targets whilst managing customer expectations
  • Work to a personal sales plan that drives activity levels and encourages growth and retention
  • Support Account Managers/ and Business Development Managers as required
  • Monitor competitor activity and travel industry changes which may impact Diversity Travel and its clients
  • Maintain CRM information in line with the sales policy
  • Prepare, analyse and deliver client management reports
  • Work confidently in a technology-driven environment, utilising client solutions and internal processes/applications effectively
  • Work across all Diversity Travel markets as required


Job requirements

  • Sales focused and ability to achieve targets
  • The ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships internally and externally
  • A demonstrable ability to offer exceptional support and present, negotiate and close renewal sales at the highest level
  • Confidence in working in a technology-focused environment in respect to both client solutions and internal processes/applications.
  • Commercial acumen – particularly in sales analysis and forecasting
  • Highly organised & able to achieve results through effective planning
  • Strong IT skills - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems
  •  Knowledge and experience in the travel industry preferred

If you are interested in our SME Client Manager role and meet the requirements above, then please do get in touch. Our hours of work are 8.45am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role will be based at our central Manchester office, with a  combination of office and home working (UK) days.
