We are currently looking for a Head of IT to oversee the delivery of efficient, secure, and innovative IT services and solutions that support the company's operations and growth objectives. The role will be responsible for the IT Service Team and IT Operations, ensuring that all IT services, from infrastructure and security to application development and maintenance, are reliable, scalable, and responsive to the needs of the business.


This will be a varied role and key tasks will include:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the IT Service Team and IT Operations
  • Coordinate with the Director of Technology to align IT infrastructure and services with the company's strategic goals
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and plans in alignment with business objectives
  • Manage department budgets, forecasting, and expenditure, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimisation
  • Manage and respond to IT risks, ensuring robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies and standards

Job requirements

  • Extensive experience in IT management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Demonstrated people and customer service management experience
  • In-depth understanding of high-volume E-commerce infrastructure requirements
  • Ability to provide multi-tiered technical support (1st, 2nd, 3rd line)
  • Proficiency with Windows Server (2019 onward) administration and maintenance
  • Expertise in Azure Entra ID
  • Experience in supporting corporate networking technologies – LAN/WLAN/VPN
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite
  • Knowledge of Zoho One beneficial
