Sales Manager Europe (Fluent French)

We are a leading travel management company for the charity and academic communities and we’re proud and passionate about what we do.

We are currently looking for a French-speaking Sales Manager to identify and close new business opportunities within the European charity, non-profit and academic sectors. This role will be based in the UK combining office and home- working, and will require travel to Europe. Key area of responsibility will include:

  • Developing profitable leads through effective management of the target account list
  • Working with the VP Sales on building a target list for the designated territories
  • Developing profitable leads through effective management of an assigned target account list
  • Developing and managing a sales pipeline to enable you to consistently meet/exceed revenue and margin targets
  • Identifying all the stakeholders in prospect organisations and adopting sales strategies that meet their needs
  • Responding professionally to RFPs and managing major new bids/tenders with the bid team
  • Preparing and delivering high quality client presentations and web demonstrations to potential clients
  • Maintaining current CRM information in line with the sales policy


  • Proven new business sales skills in a structured B2B sales solutions environment, ideally within travel management
  • Fluent French and English language skills
  • Experience in managing and responding to tenders, with the support of a bid manager
  • Experience working with travel bookers, heads of procurement, Finance Directors and C-level Executives
  • Experience of working in complex sales environments, with multiple stakeholders
  • Confidence in working in a technology-driven environment in respect to both client solutions and internal processes/applications
  • Good IT skills - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management
  • Essential to hold a full UK driving licence
